Time Machine Commission Portrait

I had the extreme pleasure to create this portrait. I was asked to create a few things, such as the
WWII PPCLI uniform, the gramophone, and the Harley Davidson, but other than that I
 was given a ton of freedom to create something both fantastical and historical.

This is a submission for the Icons of the West show at the Dana Gallery. I became interested in the history of Soiled Doves in the West and based this drawing off of a story I read of a young prostitute, Lottie Ables Pickett, who, it is said, tried to off herself in many different fashions. She was ridiculed in the local Butte, Montana paper for her inability to get the job done. She was finally successful when she chose to shoot herself.

This is a little drawing I am working on for Zootown Arts Community Center Mini Benefit Show. All artwork has to be 6" x 6" x 6" or less. I like honing my skills with small drawings, it's always a bit more of a challenge to create something on a miniature scale.
